 The Arasady library is one of the three main libraries functioning under the Batticaloa Municipal Council. It was inaugurated on 6th of July 1985 and upgraded to grade 3 on 23rd of may 2018. It provides library services such as books lending, reading,reference and children units. Batticaloa Arasady Library has provided Noolaham Foundation with an office space at their library to conduct digitization activities. Various rare publications, magazines and Newspapers have been digitized by Noolaham Foundation.
